Barry Ogden says they broke the world record again this year with the largest number of kids planting flowers.
He says it was 5600 children taking part five years ago and this year more than 7000 kids are involved.
Ogden says the Marigold awards were created to recognize people doing good work to help children in the community.
The 2017 recipients are Missy Bewick of Bee Me Kidz, Ralph Thomas, Harold Wright and Doug Simpson and his late brother Andy Simpson.
