Interim Federal Conservative leader Rona Ambrose says her party is in good shape as it approaches the leadership convention later this month. She would like to see more women joining and vows to try to bring that about.
She says her party changed its tone after the last federal election and is now the voice of the taxpayer while describing the federal Liberals as being out of touch.
Ambrose also announced she was resigning as an M-P when the current session of Parliament ends.
