The lieutenant-governor and Aquaculture and Fisheries Minister Rick Doucet and a slew of representatives from New Brunswick companies are leaving for China.
A huge trade mission is taking place from January 14 to 20 and Minister Doucet tells us this will give the province an opportunity to expand markets for New Brunswick businesses.

Doucet says the province right now relies 90 percent on trade with the United States and any opportunity to expand markets to areas like China is very worthwhile.
The industries going represent everything from seafood to maple syrup, the IT sector and even alcoholic beverages.
