A popular attraction in Bouctouche which promotes Acadian culture has received a financial boost from the federal and provincial governments.
Celebrating its 25th anniversary, Le Pays de la Sagouine has undertaken several upgrades thanks to more than $671,000 dollars in federal funding and another $50,000 from the province.
Beausejour MP Dominic LeBlanc says the investment will improve the visitor experience and help the tourism asset move forward with plans to host various cultural events in the coming years.
The project has included renovating the reception building at Le Pays de la Sagouine and enlarging the terrace to accommodate more shows and larger audiences.
