After being on the real estate market since 2008, the historic Bank of New Brunswick building on Prince William Street has been sold. The buyers are from Halifax, Ron Lovett and Courtney Sherlock. The building was first listed back in 2008 for more than $1.2 million and in 2015 was reduced to $749 thousand.
It’s a two-storey freestone Greek Revival building with six Corinthian columns within the Trinity Royal Heritage Conservation Area.
The building is occupied by the previous owner Arc’f de Saint-Jean which will remain as a tenant on the top floor of the building for up to 2 years. The ground floor on Water Street is home to Loyalist City Brewery.
The main vacancies are the former AlleyGria restaurant space on the level below Prince William and the Prince William Street “bar” space which many Saint Johnners may remember as “Pillars”.
