Ritchie’s Food Drive For Romero house has wrapped up for another year.
A 53 foot long truck, packed with non-perishable food items donated by Saint Johners is expected to be unloaded at Romero House so it can continue to serve food to those who really need it.
Darrell Ritchie says he is honoured once again that the family could continue their tradition with this being the 11th year at this location.
Ritchie says Romero House serves 200 to 400 meals per day, seven days per week and over 300 days per year and managed to do this without any government funding.
He says the people of Saint John always manage to come through.
