When the Norfolk, Nebraska police responded to a call of a man driving with a Watusi bull in his passenger’s seat, they “thought that it was going to be a calf, something small or something that would actually fit inside the vehicle,” according to Police Captain Chad Reiman.
Instead, they were met with a giant bull protruding from a car that had been modified to allow the animal’s legs to fit in the front seat. The Watusi breed comes from central Africa and the huge horns – on both males and females – have evolved to help keep the animal cool by having massive amounts of blood flow through them
Howdy Doody – the bull – is well-known in his hometown and is in the parade every year.
While there were some citable issues, the driver was let off with a warning and a directive to take the bull home.
And, if you’re wondering what happens when you drive around with a bull in your passenger seat 🤢
